Housed within the Gothic Revival-styled Adams Academy building, built in 1872, the Quincy History Museum features exhibits and artifacts covering more than four centuries of hugely influential local history. Set in the town where John and Abigail Adams lived, the entire museum revolves around a permanent exhibit regarding the couple and their family, called "Quincy: Of Stone, Of Ships, Of Minds." It lies in the historic Quincy Center neighborhood, a few blocks north of City Hall.
Open mid-Nov - mid-Apr: Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; mid-Apr - mid-Nov: Sat. noon - 3:00 p.m.
Adults $3; Seniors and Students $1.50.
